Grade A (Premium)
Size: 8–12 mm
Oil Content: 15–20%
Quality: Large, whole, and intact cloves with a rich, strong aroma and vibrant dark brown to reddish-brown color. free of stems, broken parts, or any signs of mold, have a high oil content.
Grade B (Standard)
Size: 6–8 mm
Oil Content: 12–15%
Quality: Medium-sized cloves with a slightly faded color. Slightly damaged but still retain a good level of aroma.
Grade C (Lower)
Size: <6 mm
Oil Content: <12%
Quality: Small, broken, or damaged cloves with a weaker aroma. These cloves are typically used for industrial applications, such as in spice blends or extraction.
