Moisture Content: <13%
Quality: Uniformly sized, round, and firm peppercorns, have a strong, fresh aroma and a pungent, aromatic flavor.
Grade B (Standard)
Size: 5–5.5 mm (Whole peppercorns)
Moisture Content: 13–14%
Quality: Peppercorns of medium size with a slightly less intense aroma and flavor compared to Grade A. Slight cracks, but the overall quality remains suitable for most culinary applications.
Grade C (Lower)
